ISPs, IT associations hail 100% FDI in Internet services
ISPs and infotech associations on Friday have welcomed the government's decision to permit 100 per cent FDI through automatic route saying the move would galvanise the Internet market by attracting better technology and funds while easing out non-serious players. A new intermediate digital rate satellite earth station at Thoise, the air base for Siachin area, would be commissioned on Saturday. The satellite earth station, to be commissioned by communication minister Mr Ram Vilas Paswan, would provide STD services and Internet connectivity to the defence personnel posted in this area.
BuyAsone, Apnaloan tie-up to offer finance options to customers

Now with WAP enabled eBill coming to India, mobile phone users will be able to view their bills on their handsets, announced Mr Ankur Lal, chief executive of Infozech Software. This new breakthrough which Infozech will provide to telecom service providers would enable their franchise `WAP enabled' mobile phone users to `Get-View-Pay' their bills instantly on their little screen, said Mr Lal.
