News Corp plans $1.5 billion buy-back
Media mogul Rupert Murdoch's News Corp moved on Friday to maintain confidence in its preferred stock, unveiling a $1.5 billion buyback ahead of the proposed cash and preferred scrip takeover of a US television company.
