BSE launches IML software
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has successfully launched intermediate messaging lane (IML) software for its members. The IML isin the line of computer to computer link (CTCL) of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), permits the members to design their front end software and introduce risk management in their office using live trade data, BSE sources said.

Withthe IML, broker members can expand their terminal network according to the requirements and this will reduce their vast cost so far, the sources said. Meanwhile, C Mehta Investment Intermediates Limited, a leading Mumbai-based broking company has become first member to avail of the IML facility. The SDG software, which has designed softwares for leading stock exchanges, had designed IML software for Mehta Investment Intermediaties Ltd, the sources said.

DCA settle 1,031 complaints in July
The Department of Companies Affairs (DCA) on Wednesday said that it has settled 1,031 complaints from investors on deposits with companies in the last one month. The regional benches of the Companies Law Board (CLB) passed orders for payment of deposits in 1,796 applications under Section 58A of the Companies Act of 1956 and Section 45QA of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and disposed off 380 other applications, a official release said. DCA also formed `e-corporate Business Working Group' last month to synergise the provisions of the Companies Act with the Information Technology Act of 2000 in a bid to implement e-governance, it added.
