Subex Systems Ltd, the Bangalore-based Telecom software company, has announced significant improvements to Ranger, its fraud management system for the GSM Industry. Moser Baer India Ltd, manufacturer of floppy diskettes and CD recordable in the country, has announced its entry into the lucrative audio media market through a tie-up with Emtec Magnetics GmbH of Germany, the owners of the BASF/EMTEC brand. The tie-up will see a whole host of audio products being introduced in India from audio cassettes to camcorder tapes in a phased manner.
Compaq honours Seagate with Pioneer Award
Seagate Technology Inc has announced that it has received a special "Pioneer Award" from Compaq Computer Corp in recognition of Seagate's "outstanding contribution" to Compaq's supply chain optimsation in 1998 and 1999.
"Seagate has been a key partner to Compaq for enterprise-class hard drives for a very long time", said Jack Baikie, Compaq Director ofEnterprise Solutions and Services Group Procurement.
TCS bags the Golden Peacock Training award
TCS has been presented with the Golden Peacock National Training Award on Thursday in recognition of being the biggest state-of-the-art traning centre in Asia at Thiruvananthapuram.
The award is instituted by the Institute of Directors to encourage training leading to improved business performance.
