Sun Microsystems Inc has announced that it is making the Solaris Operating Environment Network Driver Porting Kit for Linux drivers available free of charge. This kit, the latest in a series of free tools and services Sun offers for driver development, provides scripts and guidelines to let developers convert PCI-base Linux driver source into a binary Solaris driver for the Intel platform.Symantec appoints RAMMS as retail management agent

Craftsbridge India Pvt Ltd a cross channel, click and mortar handcrafts business, promoting products from all over the country has been launched in association with Tata Interactive Systems. It intends to source, design and sell Indian handicrafts. It will target both the bulk and B2C channels.
Craftsbridge has invested in brick and mortar infrastructure in various regions to exercise better control over sourcing and identify a comprehensive set of potential crafts and craftsmen. Power Mac G4 in India
Apple Computer International Pvt Ltd on Thursday introduced the Power Mac G4 cube in India. It is an entirely new class of computer that delivers the performance of a Power Mac G4 in an eight inch cube suspended in a crystal-clear enclosure. "The G4 cube is simply the coolest computer ever," said Naren Ayyar, managing director, Apple Computer International Pvt Ltd.
