BNP Paribas launches new website

Mumbai, Aug 14: BNP Paribas has launched a new web-site uplink to offer customised banking solutions for corporate accounts and private banking customers. The application system gives account information, pay-order and cheque books, stop-payments and foreign exchange updates. According to the bank's spokeperson: "The site was launched a couple of weeks before and we are fine tuning the site. Once the retail banking initiative of the bank starts off by the end of the year, we will offer Internet banking products to the retail clientele too." BNP Paribas now offers only corporate banking and private banking in India.

The site allows authorised users to assign financial limits, conduct transactionsin their accounts and access other accounts of group companies at different locations. The bank will shortly launch on-line cash management for corporate customers.

The site also provides information on the bank's activitie and products in India and worldwide.
