Hitco Online sales up 37 per cent
Hitco Online Technologies Ltd has reported total sales and other income of Rs 85.69 lakh for the quarter ending June 30, 2000, a 37 per cent increase compared to Rs 61.7 lakhs in the corresponding period last year. Export sales, which constitute 32 per cent of total sales have increased by 16 per cent compared to the same period last fiscal. The net profits for the quarter have been pegged at Rs 7.28 lakhs compared to Rs 0.5 lakhs last year.

TMI launches website
TMI network, a management company, with its knowledge partner XLRI, Jamshedpur, has launched the `managementor.com' for practicing management professionals. Speaking to presspersons here on Monday, TMI managing director Muralidharan said the site will create an active forum and bridge between practicing managers and academicians and create on-line tests, case studies and latest articles in addition to providing viewpoint in e-case analysis. He said TMI has strategic alliance with ICICI for credit payment gateway and financial services.

Celforce unveils messageing service
Celforce, one of the leading mobile phone service providers in Gujarat, has began short messages service (SMS) to its customers as value added services, said Fascel Ltd chairman KV Seshasayee on Monday. He said that the SMS, branded as `the fantastic five', is being provided to its customers through a tie up with Pune-based Isolve. It is for the very first time in India that a cellular service provider has tied with a mobile portal to enable all non-voice SMS. The fantastic five service includes National Stock Exchange stock quotes with alerts, Jet Airways on line flight arrival and departures, jokes, mobile reminders and instant messages, the Fascel chairman said.
