The project will commence its operations initially in Delhi by the second week of September, he added.

THL has launched the Total Security Solutions (TSS) here on Saturday for residential and small commercial establishments.Chakraborty said that the new out-fit will have a mobile response team to extend necessary help to its customers (the users of the security systems) in case of any kind of emergency besides monitoring security of homes and commercial establishments. A 13-year old industrial security and automation supplier, THL is now foraying into the Rs 100 crore business of Total Security Solutions (TSS) for homes and small commercial establishments.

"We have targeted to capture about 12 per cent market share during the current year," Chakraborty said. By 2005 THL is proposed to achieve a turnover of Rs 63 crore on TSS products. The range of electronic security solutions THL proposes to market include sensors that detect forced entry, unwarranted movements, smoke, fire, glass breaks, and cooking gas leaks.Chakraborty explained that the systems have panic switches to initiate alarm or call for help in emergencies such as medical assistance etc.

These systems can be customized to the needs of an individual and can derive solution after assessing the property and the nature of the risk, he added.
