Fascel in alliance with iSolve for SMS services

Ahmedabad: Leading mobile phone service provider in Gujarat, Fascel Ltd has tied up with iSolve, a Puna-based mobile portal developer, to provide all non-voice Short Message Service (SMS) and WAP based services to its customers. Addressing media persons, chairman of Fascel Limited, KV Seshasayee announced that the unique association of CelForce and iSolve will provide all non-voice SMS-based, user friendly value added services to all its customers in Gujarat under the brand name of " The Fantastic Five ". With introduction of these services, CelForce customers can get NSE stock quotes, Jet Airways online flight arrival & departures, jokes, mobile reminders and instant messages on mobile phone. All these services are compatible with current handsets available in the market.

Referring to the company's future plan, Seshasayee said that company had plans to provide mobile banking services to its customers in collaboration with private sector banks. At present, talks are on with four banks but he, however, declined to divulge more information. In addition, the company is also planning to introduce Internet facilities on handset. Seshasayee said, "The only problem to introduce this facilities is Web handset. Once Web handsets are available in the market at cheaper rate, the company will introduce this service."

Other services to be launched shortly by the company include mobile greetings, mobile e-mail, mobile credit cars service, mobile railway information, horoscope, quiz, foreign exchange rates. CelForce covers 21 out of the 25 district headquarters across Gujarat. The company will soon bring in Dahod, Rajpipala, Veraval, Umergaon, Halol, Palanpur and Deesa on the GSM worldmap. Rural telephony and village information kiosks are also in the pipeline.
