New Delhi, July 26: In a major initiative to introduce reforms in the development of industrial infrastructure, the Uttar Pradesh government has cleared two road projects worth Rs 70.3 crore to be executed through private sector participation.The two projects given go ahead on Wednesday include a Rs 51.5 crore Mandhana-Bhounti in Kanpur and 10 km long two-lane Delhi-Loni involving an outlay of Rs 18.8 crore will be executed on a Build-Own-Transfer (BOT) basis.p``The traffic survey, road alignment and the techno economic feasibility of the projects had already been carried out by Fergusan &Co, L&T Ramboli Consulting Engineers and Tata Consultancy Services'' the spokesperson from UPSIDC, said here on Wednesday. He said Delhi-Loni road would make easy access to Tronica City - a Rs 320 crore industrial estate of the state government sprawling over 1600 acres near Ghaziabad.
Mandhana-Bhounti project jointly concieved by UPSIDC and Kanpur Development Authority covering 16.55 km besides a flyover, two-bridges and one rail over bridge will help ease traffic congestion and ensure free movement of vehicles in Kanpur City will also be implemented through private participation, the release added.
