Information Bill in Winter session of Delhi Assembly
The Right to Information Bill will be introduced in the Winter session of Delhi Assembly, Chief Minister Sheila Dixit said in New Delhi on Wednesday. COAI welcomes likely move to open intra-circle traffic
The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) has welcomed reports that intra-circle traffic may be thrown open to National Long Distance operators. However, it has emphasised that, it is imperative that mobile service providers be permitted direct inter-circle connectivity rights.
Techspan sets up Competence Development Center in India

Aircel to provide roaming facility in Kerala
Aircel Ltd, the cellular service provider in the Tamil Nadu telecom circle, has announced that its subscribers while on visit to Kerala can use their own Aircel cellphone with the same number to make and receive calls in Kerala from this Thursday. Addressing a press conference, company chief executive officer Aad Loois said that this would help Aircel in providing roaming facility in Kerala.
Speedera to set up R&D development centre in India
Speedera Networks, USA, the provider of global traffic management and content delivery solutions will soon set up a development centre for R&D in India besides proposing to invest $2 million during the year. According to company president and chief executive Ajit Gupta the company had developed high end products which were now being patented in the area of caching, global traffic, network management.
