iLantus Tech to offer infrastructure, security management services

Bangalore, July 26: Bangalore-based start-up iLantus Technologies is all set to offer integrated infrastructure and security management services. The company has been incubated by iVega Corporation, the Bangalore-based software services and consulting firm. Addressing the media, iLantus CEO and managing director Binod Singh said the company would commence operations by offering its services across four main segments - infrastructure value enhancement services, portal management services, security readiness assessment services and security vulnerability services. The company would function out of its main development center (located within the iVega Corp premises), and would also have an additional operation center in the US, Singh said."The IT services market is expected to be worth $1 trillion by 2008, while the network consulting & management market will go up to $5 billion within the same time frame. We are looking at positioning ourselves in this segment to leverage the explosive growth in this market," he added. As for specifics, the company is planning to offer a suite of services including assessment and evaluation, solutions architecture, implementing and 24x7 operation services in the area of OS/application/database and network/system/security management, etc. The company was also planning to develop special remote network management solutions for various non-IT segments as well, Singh said.
