It took Pamela one year, but she finally slept her way to the top. Employed by The Head Corporation, she performs a mouthful of duties. Working as the technical administrative support therapist, Pamela coordinates one on one meetings with important business clients for The Head Corporation.Says Pamela, "You have to set goals and believe in yourself. Don't ever give up! When co-workers were calling me slut, wench, whore, and hobag, I persevered." It's that sort of work ethic that sets her apart from other employees.Says Gus Frankenliker, Pamela's previous boss, "The company was cutting back and said we had to trim payroll levels. I was about to fire Pamela, when all of a sudden she just ripped my pants off, and convinced me otherwise." Instead, Gus promoted her as his personal assistant.
Soon thereafter, Pamela's networking skills paid off. While riding the elevator with vice-president Herb Musthaver, Pamela effectively communicated, in not so many words, her desire to be his secretary. By the time the elevator reached the 20th floor, she had the job. Pamela attributes her landing the job to her good interpersonal skills.
Says Pam, "You have to sell yourself. Try wearing a tight-fitting blouse. The more cleavage the better. Also, lick your lips a lot when speaking. Most importantly, wear a short skirt with no underwear, while sitting across from any male boss. Heck, I don't even have a college degree, and I play an important role in the company."
