New accident policy launched
The New India Insurance Company has launched a new accident insurance policy, jointly with a Coimbatore-based multi-speciality hospital. Launching the policy on Wednesday in Coimbatore, the company general manager, K Shenbagaraman said the policy would not only cover for hospitalisation expenses up to Rs 40,000 but also provide compensation for permanent disability or death upto Rs 1 lakh.
