Nifty futures volume on the rise
Trading volumes in Nifty touched Rs 3.18 crore with the near month (1 month) contract accounting for 93 per cent of volumes followed by 6 per cent in July month contract. The Nifty gained 32 points today. The total traded values for contracts expiring on June 29, July 27 and August 31 were Rs 296.87 lakh, Rs 17.87 lakh and Rs 2.97 lakh respectively.

NRIs allowd to buy in Rama Phosphates' Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has notified that non-resident Indians (NRIs) and overseas corporate bodies (OCBs) could purchase equity shares and covertable debentures of Rama Phosphates up to 24 per cent of its paid up capital. This investment could be made through stock exchanges under the portfolio investment scheme as the company had passed a resolution at its general body meeting to this effect, RBI said in a release here on Friday.

Skindia GDR declines by 1.23 %
The Skindia GDR Index representing 22 actively traded companies declined by 1.23 per cent from 942.09 points to 930.46 points on June 15, according to Instanex Capital daily update. The Skindia GDR p/e ratio also dropped by 1.23 per cent from 18.70 points to 18.47 points and the index premium also slided down by 9.39 per cent from 33.63 per cent to 30.47 per cent.
