RBI permits Dewan Housing to lend to NRIs
DEWAN Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) has received permission from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to offer housing loans to non-resident Indians (NRIs). The company will waive pre-payment charges for NRIs and will also provide property and personal accident insurance.

Gruh Finance net up 19 per cent
GRUH Finance has recorded a net profit of Rs 4.29 crore for the financial year 1999-2000. Income from operations has increased by 19 per cent over the previous year to Rs 64.95 crore. The capital adequacy ratio (CAR) of the company for the period was at 10.15 per cent, a company press release said.
