Pernod rebuffed Campari after takeover approach
New York, June 16: Pernod Ricard SA, the French beverage group whose brands include Bushmills whiskey and Havana Club rum, on Thursday said it was approached several months ago about a possible takeover by Italian counterpart Campari. But Pernod Ricard chairman Patrick Ricard, speaking at a meeting with analysts here, said Pernod was ``not prepared to sell'' adding there have been no recent talks.
