APRIL 10: It is time to book profit at the HDFC counter. It reached a peak of Rs 503 and closed at the lower end at Rs 474.The previous high was Rs 488 reached on March 3. Right now, it has created a dark cloud cover, which is a bearish indication. It has the potential to retract to Rs 443. Volumes have been building up over the last four sessions. But simultaneously, intra-day variations are high. Considering everything, it would be wise to book profit at the upper end.
Fresh purchases should be deferred and scrip should be allowed to settle down. The daily stochastic indicator has signalled a sell in the overbought zone.
