Bharti commences optic fibre transmission network
In line with its expansion plans of laying 5000 km optic fibre network to cover Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh in two phases, Bharti Enterprises, a telecom conglomerate with majority stake in JT Mobiles, on Tuesday announced the commencement of a optic fibre transmission network (backbone) project.

Media summit from tomorrow
Over 100 experts from the communication world will attend a three-day summit "Communicating for Change" beginning in New Delhi on March 9. The summit is being organised by the British Council in association with British Trade International and Confederation of Indian Industry, a British high Commission release said.
