NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 22: Wipro chairman and the world's third richest man Azim Premji has hinted at a US listing. "At some day, it (Wipro) will get listed in the US market," Premji retorted, when quizzed by reporters on plans of Wipro listing its shares on the American bourses.Premji, who received the JRD Tata award from the All India Management Association here last night, avoided further discussions on the issue. Answering queries on whether he had plans to sell his shares in the company, in which he holds a 75 per cent stake, Premji replied, "I don't play in the stock market."
He repeated `no comments' when reporters bombarded him with questions like "Do you think the Wipro scrip would maintain its current price level?" Unprecedented media gathering gave a tough time to organisers of the award function in escorting Premji during the function.
