A touchstone for the aged
Help is round the corner for the aged. Since the setting up of the National Council for Older Persons during the last quarter of 1999, the government is planning to launch a nationwide help programme for the aged.

Fair sex demands a fairer deal
It was an all women's affair. Men were well in the background. At the 10th annual national meet of the Forum of Women in Public Sector, held recently in the Capital, members discussed the changing roles, rights and responsibilities of women in a men's world in these times of change.

A healthy initiative
