Reliance to export naphtha
FEBRUARY 4: Reliance Petroleum Ltd has sold three cargoes of February naphtha, totalling around 100,000 tonnes, an industry official said on Friday. The cargoes were sold on a free-on-board basis, but the official said two cargoes were destined for Singapore and one is destined for the Middle East. "Reliance is exporting three cargoes this month, next week onwards," the official said."Two cargoes would be shipped to Singapore and one to the Middle East," he said. A Reliance spokesman declined to comment immediately. First exports from Reliance's 540,000 barrel per day (27million tonnes per year) Jamnagar refinery started late November with 30,000 tonnes of naphtha. Reliance consumes most of its naphtha as feed for its petrochemical complexes. Copyright © 2000 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
