Indian Oil tenders to buy sour crudes
FEBRUARY 4: The Indian Oil Corp (IOC) has issued a tender to buy crudes for April-June loading, traders said on Friday. IOC listed its usual wide variety of eligible crudes, mainly consisting of sour crudes from the Middle East and West Africa. Sellers were asked to submit operational and logistical details by Wednesday of next week and price details by Thursday.Offers will be valid until February 11. IOC did not issue a separate single-month tender along with the three-month tender, traders said. IOC had not issued a tender since it cancelled in mid-January a March-May sweet crude buy tender, after initially postponing the tender's closing date by one week.
