Hyderabad, Feb 1: California-based Solix Internet Inc plans to enter Indian markets with its latest application software, `iOperations MRO Procurement Solutions'. It has tied up with its Indian counterpart Solix Enterprises Solutions Ltd (SESL), to market the procurement solution in Asia Pacific markets.SESL chairman GP Rao recently said, "We are the first company in this region to announce integrated e-business solutions for enterprise operations management".
The internet procurement solution, iOperation, will cover the full spectrum of MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) supplies for the management, control and acquisition of non-production goods and services.
Solix Internet Inc, engaged in providing enterprise operations management solutions for mid to large global organisations that integrate and extend back-office ERP systems to connect employees, customers, suppliers, trading partners, and distributors through internet technologies.
Looking at the internet penetration into India, SESL has plans to introduce other customised products such as, expense reporting, time cards management on a single infrastructure to maximize the return on investment and to lead the customers to complete end-to-end enterprise operations management, Rao said.
The iProcure solution will soften the procurement process while converting the paper-based process to web-based and electronic. This would enable the companies to increase the return on investment, Rao explained.
The iOperations framework, to be introduced in Indian market, will enable the company to automate operations from single system and integrate with back-office systems, Rao said.
