Glaxo unveils new drug 

 
FEBRUARY 1: Glaxo India has launched Hepitec 100 mg (lamivudine), the world's first oral anti-viral treatment for chronic hepatitis B. Known as Zeffix in most countries, Hepitec will be available in a unique Indianised pack, printed in Hindi and other regional languages. Each strip of 14 tablets is packed in a pilfer proof alu-alu double foil blister.
