JANUARY 31: Indian Oil Corp has deferred the closing date of its tender to buy March delivery diesel to next Monday, February 7, traders said on Monday. The tender seeks 30,000 to 45,000 tonne cargoes of 0.25 per cent sulphur diesel for delivery into the West and east coast ports of India; Goa/Mumbai and Chennai/Haldia ports respectively. Sellers can offer delivery for the entire month of March and for delivery windows of March 1-7, March 8-15, March 16-23 or March 24-31.

Traders said IOC has requested that sellers submit part one offers, which specify quantity and other logistical details, into the tender by Thursday. Part two, which specifies the offer price, has to be submitted by Monday, January 7. The tender would be valid for the same day. The original issue of the tender specified a closing date of February 2 and February 3 for parts one and two respectively, with validity for February 4.
