Sebi meet to consider Net trading
January 24: Sebi is expected to meet today to consider giving clearance to stock trading via Internet in the country, chairman DR Mehta said on Monday. "The board is meeting to consider clearing internet trading, guidelines for venture capital firms, corporate governance among other issues," he said.Mehta said the clearance for Internet trading would essentially be for order routing through a broker's filter.
