It has also been decided to refer these matters to other regulatory agencies for action from their end or to follow up with them. The committee reviewed the actions taken by Sebi and Department of Company Affairs in respect of such companies and noted that Sebi has issued notices to 49 companies and 142 directors of such companies prohibiting entry to capital market for a period of 5 years.
