ANZ Grindlays Bank set to unveil 365-day banking

Mumbai, January 24: ANZ Grindlays Bank will introduce 365-day banking along with extended banking hours, phone banking and doorstep banking. The new services will be on offer from January 26.

In a release issued here on Monday, ANZ Grindlays Bank said it will provide its 365-day banking service at select branches across Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. To begin with, ANZ Grindlays Bank branches at Connaught Place, Greater Kailash and Punjabi Bagh in New Delhi; Breach Candy and Bandra in Mumbai and Haddows Road in Chennai will offer the service".

"The 365-day banking service will enhance the banking experience of ANZ Grindlays Bank customers, making it possible for them to transact on their accounts even on Sundays and National Holidays", ANZ Grindlays Bank country-head (India), Anuroop (Tony) Singh said.

ANZ Grindlays Bank has over the last month introduced "Extended Banking Hours" facility in its branches in Delhi, Calcutta, Chennai and Mumbai. Customers now have the advantage of banking up to 7 pm in theevening from Monday to Saturday at all ANZ Grindlays Bank branches in addition to the 365-day branches in each city.

Other services that have already been rolled out recently by ANZ Grindlays Bank include phone Banking, which allows customers to conduct transactions over the telephone from the comfort of their home or office; Doorstep Banking, by which customers can, among other things, have cash delivered at and cheques picked up from their doorsteps; 365-day locker access at all the locker branches across Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai and enhanced ATM facilities, giving customers the opportunity to do more of their banking from any of the bank's 24-hour ATMs in 9 cities. ANZ Grindlays Bank has also launched its global credit card very recently.
