Microsoft in data warehousing pact

Neeraj Saxena
New Delhi, Jan 24: Microsoft Corporation India has entered a partnership with Wipro, TCS, Sonanta Software and Citicorp Information Technologies India to provide data warehousing solutions.

Through this initiative, the global software giant will tap the organisations which have extensive data stored in their systems, but are unable to use it effectively to generate business intelligence and decision support.

The partner companies will provide support and implement data warehousing solutions based on Microsoft technologies, particularly the SQL Server 7.0 platform, whereas Microsoft will provide and implement data warehousing solutions across vertical segments.
