Singapore, Jan 3: Indian Oil Corp (IOC) has issued a tender to buy diesel for delivery in the last week of January and the first two weeks of February, traders said on Monday.The tender seeks 30,000 tonnes cargoes of 0.25 per cent sulphur gas oil for delivery into Goa and Bombay, ports on the West coast of India.It sought 40,000 to 45,000 tonnes cargoes for delivery into Madras and Haldia, ports on the east.
Sellers were requested to offer cargoes for delivery during any of these dates - January 24-31, February 1-7 and February 8-15, traders said.IOC did not specify how many cargoes it would buy in the tender that closes on January 6, with offers valid for one day, they said.
In its last tender, IOC had bought four diesel cargoes totalling up to 1,35,000 tonnes, three 30,000 tonnes each for West coast India delivery and one 40,000 to 45,000 tonnes for the east coast of India.
