Rediscover the occult science

DECEMBER 18: Ancient India contributed many great sciences to the world, beit in the fields of astrology, astronomy and mathematics or music, Ayurvedaand occult. Our great seers and sages influenced every aspect of human lifeand nature. But over the centuries, many of these disciplines lost theirpre-eminence due to various socio-economic reasons. Many of the occultsciences, which were virtually the treasures of our civilisation, got cutoff from the mainstream.

In today's world of stress and strain, these occult sciences could be ofgreat help to people. But of course, these subjects need to be properlyunderstood and utilised for the betterment of humanity.

The Paravidya Research Foundation in Delhi is carrying out research in thedifferent branches of ancient Indian sciences so that these can be utilisedto benefit society. According to Yogesh Podar of the Mumbai chapter of the Paravidya ResearchFoundation, the Foundation has taken up research in the sciences of yoga,meditation, tantra, mantra, herbs, holistic healing, astrology, re-birth,par-kaya pravesh, samadhi, telepathy, hypnosis, music therapy, watertherapy, parapsychology, dreams, trance, other supernatural, para-normalphenomena and many more branches dealing with the hidden secrets of nature.In fact, this institution deals with the entire human fabric, touching thephysical, mental and spiritual aspects of man.

Acharya Keshav Devji has mastered many branches of astrology, astronomy andthe Vedic sciences, in addition to numerology, music and grammar. He is alsowell versed in the astrological sciences of Germany, Arabia and Egypt. Itwas with the purpose of spreading this knowledge that he established theFoundation.

Keshav Devji is striving to dispel the misconception that the knowledgepropounded by the ancient saints do not tally with advanced science andtechnology.

Many new and powerful mantras have been discovered at the Foundation and arebeing practised to alleviate the sufferings of the common people.Acharya Keshav Devji has also combined the devices of many extraordinaryforms of worship and evolved a simple but effective method of yoga sadhanapractice with the ability of imparting an entirely new experience to seekersof truth.

This system embodies the experiments of ancient rishis, Patanjali's methodsof yogic achievements, the rites of many books on mantras, the secrets ofmeditation as revealed by Jain and Buddhist religious saints, GuruGorakhnath and 84 other sidhas and rites and rituals of the majority of alltime-tested sadhanas.

This peculiar method of dhyan sadhana can be performed by anyone withoutmuch difficulty. This technique is said to impart mystic powers andhappiness to the practitioners.

Keshav Devji has also done research in the field of remedial sciences; andafter combining different remedial sciences, he has evolved mixed medicinalmethods that aim at speedy recovery of patients.

These mixed remedial methods are easily available, cheap and at the sametime very effective. These combined remedial methods include nature cure,Ayurveda, yoga, pran vinimaya, samvad preshan vidya (telepathy), mantra,yagya, sidh chikitsa, alchemy, jadi-booti, bhasma rahasyamaye pran chikitsa,dhumra chikitsa, sammohan chikitsa, vichar tarang vigyan sangeet chikitsa(curing by music), shabd vigyan and dev chikitsa.

At the Foundation, 2-3 large scale sadhana camps and yagyas are performedevery year, in which thousands of devotees take part. Every Sunday morning,practical training is given in meditation.

Thrice every day, yagyas and havans are held with the chanting of variousmantras. In the evening, daily at sunset, rudrabhishek is done, after whichagnihotra is carried out with the incantation of mantras. Near aboutmidnight, the complete Durga Saptshati Havan is also performed.

A large number of people from every walk of life come to the ParavidyaResearch Foundation to learn yoga, astrology, Ayurveda, mantras andparavidya.
