Soft launch for Jack Barclay
DECEMBER 2: In a low-key launch, Birla VXL Ltd has quietly launched a ready-to-wear range under a new brand Jack Barclay. The launch of the new brand has been limited to Delhi as yet but will be rolled out nationally in the next few months depending on the market response. The need to step into this segment, says B S Chandiramani, president, international divsion, Birla VXL Ltd, has come from the growing boom in the readymade retail market.The range -- targeted at the upper middle-class man -consists of shirts, trousers, suits, jackets and even accessories. The shirts and ties are being sourced from Zodiac and will be co-branded as Zodiac for Jack Barclay. The range is being retailed through OCM and Digjam's exclusive showrooms currently.
