Financial Tech is IBM's business partner
Mumbai-based software company Financial Technologies India has tied up with IBM India as its advanced business partner to provide solutions to the financial market in the country. Under the agreement, IBM would provide joint marketing support for Financial Technologies' application software products aimed at the financial market.Compucentre to partner Aptech
Aptech Ltd on Wednesday appointed Compucentre as its partner for setting up an IT training centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. The centre, which will be a part of Aptech's asset international chain, will offer professional and career training. Aptech executive director Pramod Khera said the centre would act as a model for the South African countries.
Jain Studios to set up uplinking gateway
Jain Studios, promoters of Jain Channel, has received permission from the I&B ministry to set up its own uplinking gateway for broadcasting. The clearance will enable Jain Studios to gather and uplink news from mobile systems anywhere in the country and telecast live it without a microwave link.
Oracle user group formed
Over 70 major customers of Oracle applications software announced the formation of a users group in India named India Oracle Applications Users Group . This society will be part of the worldwide Oracle Applications User Group which has over 4,000 members all over the world. The IOAUG is an independent body formed and funded by the users of oracle applications in the country.
