eCapital to acquire German IT firm eCapital Solutions (India), promoted by former Hewlett Packard chief SC Rajpal, will soon acquire a German IT company as a part of its strategy to grow globally through strategic acquisitions. "The German company will operate as a 100 per cent subsidiary of eCapital Solutions," Rajpal, president and ceo of the company, told PTI. He refused to divulge financial details of the deal but said it would be struck this week.EDS to acquire 2 cos in India Electronic Data Systems Corporation, the US-based professional services provider, will invest $10 million to acquire two Indian software companies even while taking up a massive recruitment drive here. "We will be looking out for two small software companies having an annual turnover of $5 million (Rs 23 crore) involved in application development and system integration," Rajinder K Chand, managing director, EDS (India) Ltd, told UNI.
