HR management solutions Systime Computers launched a human resource management solution called Calibre, which is designed to service the HR information needs of large multi-locational organisations. "Calibre is an extremely comprehensive, flexible and futuristic software solution designed to suit the needs of corporations in the coming millennia. It is a user-friendly HR solution which can operate in practically any environment with minimum level of customisation and can be deftly implemented in establishments of any size," said Ramesh Subramaniam, senior vice-president, of the company. Made up of three completely integrated modules TimeKeeper (time attendance), PreCale (payroll management) and HumanSys (HR management), this solution caters to the entire personal information needs of any corporation.Paragon call centre Parsec Technologies, a computer telephony company, has launched its PC-based software, which provides call, voice and data processing on a single architectured solution. The product titled -- Paragon Call Centre -- provides ideal solution, leveraging industry standard components, to handle high volume telephony traffic for e-commerce, customer servicing and telemarketing, apart from agent productivity. Unlike conventional EPAPBX-based systems, this offers all components of a call centre like call enablement, interactive voice response, predictive dialer, screen pop-up and management features on a single platform minimising integration issues and dramatically reducing cost of ownership. Intel open to CT Intel Corporation announced in California, a series of steps designed to accelerate industry movement towards open computer telephony (CT) systems by simplifying CT software development. These action include the acquisition of Parity Software Development Corporation and equity investments in two companies through the Intel Communication fund. In addition, Intel has signed a letter of intent with Artisoft Inc, stating the two companies intend to work together on several CT-related projects. The company announced that it has acquired Parity Development Corporation, a privately held developer of advanced computer telephony infrastructure software.
