Millennium pen from Parker
Luxor Writing Instruments has introduced 50 exquisitely designed Parker Duofold Greenwich pens in the Indian market. Parker is the only writing instrument company authorised to use the Greenwich logo at the dawn of the new millennium.The pen will be available internationally and in India it will be introduced through a tie-up with Jet Airways, since the company's research has shown that a large part of the target audience for the product are frequent business travellers. The fountain pen, with a 18K solid gold nib engraved and highlighted with platinum, is priced at Rs 21,000.
Lego pushes Star Wars range
Lego has introduced a new Star Wars range. Part of Lego System, the Star Wars range consists of many different characters and futuristic spaceships like, the TIE Fighter, Snowspeeder, Speeder Bikes, Y-wing Fighter and Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder, priced at Rs 438 onwards.
New cooker from Prestige
TTK Prestige has launched a new model of pressure cooker Pronto in all major cities. Available in 3, 5 and 7.5 litres, the range is priced from Rs 730-Rs 1,339. Features include a sleek and contemporary concave lid, a superior gauge aluminum base for quicker and efficient heat transfer, a whistling weight valve with stainless steel vent tube to maintain requisite pressure for cooking and stay-cool handles for an easy grip.
Cotton Care wrinkle-frees
Vinayak Corporation has launched a new range of ready-to-wear wrinkle-free and 100 per cent cotton casual and formal trousers, branded Cotton Care. Targeted at fashion-conscious youth and working executives, the Cotton Care range is priced between Rs 700 to Rs 900.
IDA seal for Colgate Total
Colgate Total has got the seal of acceptance from the Indian Dental Association (IDA), the hallmark of professional recognition of the safety, efficacy and usefulness of an oral care product. According to Colgate-Palmolive, this is the second toothpaste in India to be conferred the IDA seal of acceptance, after Colgate Calciguard in 1997.
The only other oral care products to bear the IDA seal of acceptance are Colgate Plus and Junior toothbrushes.
Training the trainers
Grey Cells is organising the 19th and 20th Train the Trainer's Skillshop-a two-day comprehensive `Trainer's Training Skillshop' for empowering trainers to conduct in-house programmes on time management, prioritization, logging time, delegation, planning your time and communication skills like communication processes, listening, writing and presentation skills.
The programme is meant for everyone concerned with training in an organisation and people who aspire to become trainers.
