Indian Express Egmont Publications is marketing the encyclopaedia in India. The company is a joint venture between the Indian Express (Bombay) Group of Newspapers and Egmont and an international media group based in Copenhagen. The encyclopaedia set forms a one-stop reference library for children, covering all major topics,ranging from ancient history to modern technology, from sports to modern scientific discoveries and from the culture of different civilisations to places of historic interest. Made specially appealing and interesting for children, different Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy, take the reader through the pages. The entire 24-volume series, priced at Rs 7,700, will be made available through a direct marketing network.

Neo compact disk introduced
Mehta Hwa Fuh Plastics has introduced the Neo compact disk file in Mumbai. The disk offers the option of holding 12/24 CDs in an anti-scratch pocket made from non-woven material specially imported from Taiwan. Model 644 is priced at Rs 244 and is available in four shades at all leading computer, music, stationary, book and departmental stores.
NMIMS gets five-star rating
The Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has become the first business school in the country to be awarded the coveted accreditation, for a period of five years, of the UGC-sponsored National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), with a Five Star rating. This is the highest rating awarded by the Council. NMIMS is one of the top tenmanagement schools, out of over 700 in the country. NAAC is an autonomous body established by the UGC in 1994 with the purpose of assessing and evaluating the performance of higher education institutions across the country, and accrediting them through the award of quality ratings.
