Feedback
``This refers to the article that appeared on our brand `Eva' in The Financial Express dated October 22, 1999. We at Sara Lee TTK Ltd are surprised to know that such an article has appeared without verifying the facts from the company. Your newspaper has not contacted us to verify/confirm the information received from a trainee/student. We would like to state that some points in the article are incorrect and you are not expected to publish what is stated by a trainee student before verifying with the company."

Our correspondent replies: The story on `Eva' was published as part of a series of summer projects presented by B-school students at Prerana '99, an annual all-India Summer Project Contest held by the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE). The idea behind the series was to concentrate on the summer projects only and to recognise the efforts of the students. The presentations were made by students at a public forum, where the Press was also invited, and thus the data was very much in the public domain.
