New Delhi, Nov 4: With television software scrips being the latest discovery of the boureses, Jain Studios has become a target of punters. The scrip on Wednesday touched an all-time high of Rs 126. A hitherto illiquid counter, Jain Studios has started attracting regular buyers and, in the last three trading sessions, the stock has been on the rise.The reason for marketmen's bullishness on the stock- the company is expected to report a good performance in the third and fourth quarter of the current fiscal. Moreover, the company is launching a programme specifically targeted at the broking community in India. Jain Studios has decided to start a daily seven-hour business coverage from Diwali. The programme will provide a comprehensive coverage of business news, including stock markets.
The "Jain Business News" will provide up to the minute stock market coverage seven hours a day, on all trading days. Besides, there will be a 15-minute bulletin, `Morning Market Mood', before the commencement of trading and an evening capsule rounding up the day's major stories.
In other words, the programme will cater to all the needs of the capital markets. These programmes will cater to the growing information market for economic events, corporate developments and ups and downs of the capital market.
The seven-hour coverage of the stock market and other business news from 0945 to 1615 hrs will consist of a double-decker ticker at the bottom of Jain TV signals carrying live quotes from the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange, prices of various agricultural commodities and interviews with ministers, bureaucrats, businessmen and brokers and analyst comments.
`Listening Post' will carry speeches of political and business leaders on significant topics of the day, while `Vox pop' will give a platform to the ordinary investor to air his needs/grievances. As part of its inaugural telecast between 1900 and 2030 hrs, on November 7, the channel will display muhurat trading quotes. Besides, `Laxmi Poojan', astrological predictions, which were very popular during the elections, will be made for the Indian economy, stock markets, industrial sectors and select scrips.
Renowned financial analysts and investment banking advisors will make annual predictions on the basis of technical analysis and fundamentals during the inaugural telecast.
