Arpan Mukherjee
Calcutta, Nov 3: Motherson Jones Ltd, a personal and babycare products manufacturer marketed under the Lovett brand name, is planning to set up units in seven locations and is scouting for joint venture partners. Out of these seven proposed units, four will be outside the country in Nepal, Bangladesh, Burma and Sri Lanka.

Set up in 1992, Motherson Jones has put up a plant in Delhi to make facial tissues, tissue hankies, kitchen towels, toilet tissues, table napkins, kitchen wipes and ear buds.

With its products predominantly marketed in the north and eastern parts of India, the company is planning to go national and will launch disposable hankies after Diwali. The Lovett brand of products are available in 32,000 retail outlets in north India and another 2,000 in the east.
