Millennium Series from Eagle
As part of its New Millennium Series, Eagle has chosen `Steel' as the material for the new millennium. It will launch a host of steel airpots, steel flasks and steel casseroles. The company says that these ultra futuristic products ensure high quality temperature retention as they either use ISO 9002 refills and environment friendly CFC-free PUF. The Millennium Series is available in leading stores and is priced from Rs 400 onwards. The Airpot Lisa has been priced at Rs 515 for 1,200 ml, Sleek vacuum flask at Rs 692 for 350 ml, Sara oval casseroles at Rs 961 for 1,800 ml and Patriot vacuum jug at Rs 413 for 1,000 ml.

For a smoother shave
Indian Shaving Products Ltd, a subsidiary of the Gillette Company, has launched Gillette Shave Foam in the Indian market. Available in 200 gm and 50 gm packs, the product is priced at Rs 80 and Rs 30 respectively. The aerosol shave foams provide better lubrication and lather facilitating a close, smooth shave, claims the company.

LG bat makes its way to Guiness
The world's largest cricket bat constructed by LG Electronics in April 1999 to wish the Indian cricket team good luck for the World Cup, has made its way to the Guiness World Records. The bat measured 15.24 metres in length and 1.82 metres in width and weighed 430 kg. LG was also the official supplier of consumer electronics and home appliancesfor the World Cup.
