New Delhi, Oct 31: Indian industry expects a turnaround in the economy by the end of the current fiscal, according to the fifth business confidence survey conducted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci).Industry's confidence is upbeat after the formation of the new Government. The Ficci survey reveals that after the formation of the new Government, the confidence index rose by 23.45 per cent. Indian corpoartes feel that the challenge of globalisation can be met only through a stable Government.
More than 80 per cent of respondents are upbeat of a revival in the economy in the current fiscal. The revival will be sustained by two consecutive good years of agriculature coupled with widespread restructuring undertaken or proposed by corporates.
