Century Enka has reported a sharp increase in net profit to Rs 18.97 crore for the first six months of the current fiscal from Rs 1.51 crore in the same period last year. Its sales rose to Rs 410.34 crore from Rs 347.62 crore, while other income jumped to Rs 10.11 crore from Rs 8.82 crore in the corresponding period of last year.

Archies turnover increases

Archies Greetings & Gifts Ltd has reported a 32 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 5.36 crore for the first half from Rs 2.94 crore in the same period last year. The company's turnover increased 22 per cent to Rs 30.82 crore from Rs 25.02 crore. Its board has recommended an interim dividend of 25 per cent on the enhanced capital base following the 1:1 bonus issue.

Rolta net up 53%

Rolta India has reported a 53 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 15.50 crore for the quarter ended September 30 as against Rs 10.13 crore during the corresponding period last year. The total income during the period grew 49.6 per cent to Rs 42.43 crore as against Rs 28.37 crore.
