NSE.IT unveils broking product

Mumbai, Oct 25: NSE.IT, the infotech company launched by the National Stock Exchange is ready to introduce its first product for the bourse's trading members.

According to an NSE release on Monday, after a comprehensive survey among the various trading members, NSE.IT has decided to launch CTCL (computer-to-computer-link) product. According to the NSE, the product will have the entire order management and routine features that is currently available in the NSE's NEAT front-end. Additionally, the product includes risk management, client accounting, advance administrative function and web and other external interfaces to establish links to banks, depository participants etc.

Initially, the product will be offered in two versions: Workgroup version and Enterprise version. While the workgroup version would be suitable for small/medium size broking firms supporting up to 100 users, the Enterprise version would be suitable to large broking firms and regional stock exchanges planning to connect to NSE, supporting up to 500 users.

The product that is on offer enables a brokerage firm or a stock exchange to have a complete control on the trading operations and provide an efficient service to all its clients. The product consists of four modules of different system user categories and purpose: Tradeworkstation module, Risk Management and on-line Surveillance modules, External Interface module and Administration module.
