NSE decides to split year-end trade cycle

Mumbai, Oct 22: The National Stock Exchange has decided to split the year-end trading account between December 29, 1999 and January 4, 2000 into two shorter cycles.``First trading cycle will start from December 29, 1999 andwill end on December 30, 1999. Second trading cycle will start from January 3, 2000 and will end on January 4, 2000,'' it said in a statement. The exchange will be closed on December 31, it said.
