Raj Travels sets up pavilion for US visa seekers

Mumbai, Oct 21: Leading tour operators Raj Travels & Tours Ltd has launched a pavilion for US visa seekers near the US consulate here in a bid to provide a host of facilities.

The pavilion, inaugurated by Consul General of USA David Good on October 20, will provide seating facilities for 300 visa applicants.

It is also equipped with other facilities like water cooler, two television sets and an inter-active touch screen kiosks, according to a press release.The touch-screen kiosk will give information to the visa applicant on the different categories of visas, requirements for an application, the addresses of US consulates in India and travel information, the release added.

The passengers will be seated at the pavilion on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be taken to the Consulate in a motorcoach provided by Raj Tours & Travels, said the release.

Raj Travels has started the pavilion in association with the Mumbai police, Municipal Corporation and US Consulate. The pavilion will be manned by officials from Raj Travels.
