ICICI sanctions over Rs 100 crore home loans

ICICI has sanctioned housing loans amounting to over Rs 100 crore since it has kicked off its home loans scheme in March last, according to its senior vice-president Atul Jog said. "The institution has sanctioned over Rs 100 crore of housing loans to over 2500 retail customers within seven months of its operations," he said on Wednesday. However, there were no specific targets fixed for the scheme for the year, he said.

LIC Social Security

The LIC has decided to celebrate October '99 as social security month to reiterate its commitment to the economically weaker sections of the society through its various social securitiy group insurance schemes, LIC chairman G Krishnamurthy, said on Wednesday. During the month, the benefits available under the various schemes will be highlighted at the seminars and functions arranged throughout the country, he said. LIC in the last 43-years of service has contributed significantly to the economically downtrodden through the various social security group insurance schemes.

SBI branch computerised

The Horniman Circle branch of the SBI has been fully computerised and will cater to the needs of personal segment clienteles like housing, car loans. this branch will also extend specialised services to the NRI clienteles.
