Nova Petro to hike POY capacity

Ahmedabad, Oct 13: Nova Petrochemicals Ltd (NPL) has proposed to raise the installed capacity of its POY Draw Twisting & Texturising plant at its Sanand facility near here from 25,521 tpa to 41,471 tpa by March next year, according to a company spokesperson. The shareholders of the company approved 20 per cent dividend, amouting to Rs 1.90 crore for the last fiscal at its 6th annual general meeting. It achieved a turnover of Rs 102.69 crore during the first six months ended September 30.The meeting also approved the turnover of Rs 166.13 crore for 1998-99, cash profit of Rs 16.67 crores and net profit of Rs 6.51 crore.
