Symantec launches Norton 2000
Symantec Corporation has launched Norton AntiVirus 2000, the latest version of its popular software. It promises automatic protection against viruses and other malicious code at all entry points, including e-mail attachments and internet downloads. The redesignated interface provides users with better explanations of necessary action, reduces system conflicts and allows task-based and fully-customised scanning.
LanBit unveils phone accessories
LanBit India has launched a range of mobile phone accessories such batteries and travel chargers. The lithium cells arepriced at Rs 850 while travel chargers are priced at Rs 800. The products can bear fluctuations and spikes, a company release said.
Constitution in digital form
Pocket size edition of English and Hindi versions of the Constitution of India in digital form is in the final stages of publication. The new edition of the Constitution will be released next month so that the Lok Sabha secretariat is able to provide one copy each to the members of Parliament. This edition incorporates the latest amendments up to the Constitution (78 Amendment) Act, 1995.
